SecureTRANSIT Certified by CARICOM for APIS Processing

Halifax, NS - SecureTRANSIT Inc., a leading developer of APIS (Advance Passenger Information System) airline security applications, has been formally approved by the CARICOM for APIS certification. This means that airlines that use SecureTRANSIT’s APIS compliancy applications will not have to go through the screening and certification process that is currently in place.
The CARICOM, an association of English-speaking Caribbean states that are to establishing a customs union, is currently comprised of 10 nations including Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago to name a few.
“The certification not only gives us additional credibility but also adds value to our customers” says Jason Noftall, VP of R&D at SecureTRANSIT. “It also allows us to get new airlines up and running on the system instantaneously.”
SecureTRANSIT is also fully certified by the United States CBP.
