SKYPLAN partners with SecureTRANSIT for APIS processing

Halifax, NS - SKYPAN, Based in Calgary Alberta, is partnering with SecureTRANSIT Inc ., of Halifax, Nova Scotia to provide Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) processing. Established for commercial airline and vessel operators, APIS enhances border security by providing government agencies with pre-arrival and departure manifest data on all flights, passengers, crew members, and cargo.
SKYPLAN will be incorporating SecureTRANSIT’s APIS processing software into their current APIS workflow for their existing clients. The SecureTRANSIT suite provides front and back-end integration of APIS processing services for airlines, vendors, and legacy systems. The solution will serve as the replacement for APIS processing currently performed Canadian and US government systems.
The SecureTRANSIT APIS suite will integrate into SKYPLAN’s flight planning workflow to produce the mandatory APIS requreiments. The solution eliminates manual tasks and maintains government compliancy with the United States, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). SecureTRANSIT will be providing APIS processing for over forty countries by Q108.
