SecureTRANSIT Partners With CanJet to Streamline API/APIS Processing

CanJet Airlines, a division of IMP Group Limited of Halifax, Nova Scotia, is partnering with SecureTRANSIT Inc., also of Halifax, to streamline the processing Advance Passenger Information System (APIS).
Halifax, Nova Scotia May 10, 2007 -- CanJet Airlines, a division of IMP Group Limited of Halifax, Nova Scotia, is partnering with SecureTRANSIT Inc., also of Halifax, to streamline the processing of Advance Passenger Information System (APIS). Established for commercial airline and vessel operators, APIS enhances border security by providing government agencies with pre-arrival and departure manifest data on all passengers and crew members.
CanJet Airlines will be incorporating SecureTRANSIT's APIScontrol™, APISadvisor™, and APISdirect™ into their current API/APIS workflow. The SecureTRANSIT suite provides front and back-end integration of APIS processing services for airlines, vendors, and legacy systems. The solution will serve as the replacement for APIS processing currently performed by Navitaire New Skies® (for Passengers) and Sabre™ CrewTrac®/CrewQual® (for Flight Crew and Master Crew List). The SecureTRANSIT suite will work alongside existing CanJet systems to produce the mandatory API/APIS documents. The solution eliminates manual tasks and maintains government compliancy with the United States, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
